Minister looking to reduce waiting times
More than 3,000 patients on the Isle of Man are currently waiting to have endoscopy procedures.
The figure was revealed in the House of Keys this week by the health minister who has admitted work needs to be done to reduce waiting times.
David Ashford says the Coronavirus lockdowns have meant numbers have climbed despite the specialty still functioning as a ‘high priority core service’.
He says it’s unlikely we’ll be able to ask other health services for help:
