Sir John Lorimer has taken the oath
The Isle of Man's new Lieutenant Governor has been officially sworn-in.
Sir John Lorimer is now The Queen's representative on the Island:
A special ceremony took place at Castle Rushen this afternoon.
First Deemster Andrew Corlett, who oversaw the proceedings, welcomed him to the Island:
Not everybody is welcoming the new Lieutenant Governor with open arms.
