Move in line with UK budget announcement
A temporary reduced rate of five per cent VAT on hospitality services and admissions will stay in place until the end of September.
It’s in line with the UK budget announcement yesterday.
The reduced rate was introduced in July last year to support businesses in industries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
From 1 October the VAT rate on these services will increase to 12.5 per cent for six months.
