900 people self-isolating yesterday

CM warns Covid-19 hospital admissions likely in future

900 people were in self-isolation yesterday with 800 of those close contacts of someone who's tested positive for Covid-19.

That's according to chief minister, Howard Quayle, who says it's affected schools and businesses and caused 'understandable concern'.

Policy around quarantine was changed last night, meaning the 800 close contacts were able to leave isolation.

Meanwhile, no-one is currently in hospital with the virus, but the chief minister issued a warning over this:

Lateral flow test kits will be available again this evening between 8pm and 10pm at Ballakermeen High School, Ramsey Grammar School, Castle Rushen High School and QEII High School - anyone attending must wear a face covering.

A list of pharmacies they'll also be available from is HERE.
