A-Level students to receive results today

Hundreds of teenagers awaiting grades

Hundreds of students on the Isle of Man will receive their A-Level results today (17 August).

The sixth formers will collect their grades from their secondary schools or University College Isle of Man depending on where they've studied.

Support will be available to those considering their next steps – whether that be taking up a university place, entering the clearing process, seeking further study or entering employment.

Careers advisors will also be available at UCM and the Job Centre from today with slots also bookable at schools across the Island.

BTEC Level 3, and other Level 3 qualifications, are also being published.

GCSE, IGCSE and Level 1 and 2 qualifications will be released next week on 24 August.

You can find more information HERE.

Students at Ballakermeen High School got their results yesterday (16 August).

They were emailed them in error.

The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says the school has 'notified the relevant examination boards of the situation and is now following the procedures for this type of administrative error'.

Sixth-formers are being asked to turn up at the school as normal - to receive their results again - today; you can find out more HERE.
