Coastal overtopping and inner harbour flooding are both likely

There are two yellow weather warnings in place on the Island today (Tuesday 9 September).

The first, for inner harbour flooding due to 'large high tides', has been expected to last until 3am tomorrow, although forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say it's likely to be extended.

The areas most at risk are Castletown, Douglas and Ramsey.

Meanwhile a separate warning for coastal overtopping is also in place until 3pm tomorrow, with Shore Road Rushen and the Northern end of Douglas Promenade likely to be most affected.
