Vaughan-Williams wins local authority vote
Advocate Laurence Vaughan-Williams has been elected to the board of Port St Mary Commissioners.
He won yesterday’s (Thursday) by-election in the village, polling 161 votes.
The other challenger, retired dentist Edward Cerowski, gained 91 votes.
Mr Vaughan-Williams will now serve with the local authority until April 2020.
