Air troubles not unique to Island says Ports Director

All London flights face problems

Travel authorities say there are improvements to be made in Manx air links - but insist recent issues aren't unique to the Island.

Concerns have been raised about the performance of airlines like easyJet, after a spate of delays and cancellations on its Ronaldsway-London Gatwick route.

Chief Minister Allan Bell met with company bosses last week to discuss the issue, which passenger watchdog TravelWatch described as 'appalling'.

But Director of Ports Ann Reynolds says airlines are facing similar problems across the board:
