Service to be privatised
The decision to privatise the baggage handling service at Ronaldsway airport has been described by the Infrastructure Minister as sad but inevitable.
Ray Harmer claims around £1million will be saved as a direct result of the move.
More than 20 staff will be redeployed within the department or face redundancy.
