Airlines have the power to reinstate cancelled flights
Last weekend saw a number of issues arise at the Isle of Man Airport.
Drones were spotted over the sea nearby on Saturday suspended flights in and out of the airport.
On Sunday evening, flights due to arrive and depart on Monday morning were cancelled due to a shortage of air traffic controllers, affecting hundreds of travellers.
In order to find out more about why these incidents happened, Manx Radio was granted exclusive access to the Air Traffic Control tower at Ronaldsway.
We went down to find out how everything works, and why the airport may not always be to blame for issues which affect passengers.
