
The infrastructure minister says he's offering users of the airport car park a compromise over charging for short stays.
David Cretney says he's listened to objections from the public and pressure group TravelWatch over plans to abolish free parking for the first hour.
Instead, from mid-August the first 30 minutes parking at Ronaldsway will be free.
The department received around 150 letters and emails from members of the public unhappy at the changes.
The disc zone in the short stay car park will also be reinstated.
