Announcment made by Department of Health and Social Care
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed that computer systems at all 12 GP practices are back up and running again.
This morning, IT issues meant the computer systems at doctor's surgeries and medical centres around the Island went down, meaning staff were unable to book medical appointments.
The issue has now been sorted and appointments can be made again - and members of the public are thanked for their patience.
The department also apologises for any inconvenience caused.
