Increased focus on Manx environment
All 37 Department of Education and Children schools have signed up as partners to UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.
That announcement was made by the Chief Minister this week, who praised the contributions of young people to the Island's future.
As part of the pledge, the five secondary and 32 primary schools commit to making a positive impact on the environment, as well as supporting Manx cultural heritage and helping towards sustainable economic development.
The Island is the only entire nation to be accredited with Biosphere Reserve status by UNESCO.
