Drafting errors hold up progress
The man behind a bill aimed at reforming abortion services on the Island says a delay in the legislation is regrettable but makes sense.
The Legislative Council delayed the progress of Dr Alex Allinson's Abortion Reform Bill due to drafting errors and concerns over certain definitions within it the legislation.
Dr Allinson says it's unfortunate the bill won't be ready in time to be promulgated on Tynwald Hill, but it's integrity remains untouched:
