The mover of the Assisted Dying Bill has been given leave to make a statement in Tynwald next week (21 April).
The UK Ministry of Justice confirmed in the last few days that it is currently unable to recommend the Bill for Royal Assent.
Ramsey MHK, Alex Allinson had admitted there's always a danger legislation can time out in an election year.
Dr Allinson has the permission from the President of Tynwald to speak on Tuesday.
