Minister says gov't aware of 'real risk' inflation is posing
The Treasury Minister says the Island must prepare for increased cost pressures this coming winter.
Dr Alex Allinson has reiterated government is aware that inflation remains a 'real risk' to people's livelihoods.
Inflation locally did fall to 8.1 per cent in May, but officials have warned it may only be a 'temporary lull'.
Dr Allinson says global factors such as the conflict in Ukraine and 'tail events' of Covid-19 are still having a knock-on effect on worldwide costs:
Joanna Simpson killer not eligible for early release from prison
More bus services 'at risk' of cancellation
Charity warns of damage to Island's international reputation
