Seventy-two gas medical bags handed over
The Island’s ambulance service is to benefit from £4,500-worth of new medical equipment.
The donation was made by the Manx Grand Prix Supporters' Club and provides 72 infection control-compliant gas medical bags.
Ambulance crews will use the bags in the vehicles responding to the outbreak of coronavirus to help combat the virus – and deliver further breathing apparatus.
Isle of Man Ambulance will share the equipment between The Hogg Motorsport Association, The Manx Grand Prix and TT Helicopters as well as St John Ambulance.
In a post on social media, the service thanked the club for the donation saying it's 'really appreciated' and will 'significantly bolster the Island's response to the Covid-19 pandemic and future motorsport events.'
