App helps report cyber bullying

Software encourages pupils to anonymously report problems

A new app, called 'Safer Schools', aims to monitor bullying more closely.

Pupils can use the software to report bullying anonymously, and learn about how to stay safe online.

It has been free to download since its launch by the Isle of Man Government last September.

Anti-Bullying Ambassador Christina Ballard from Ballakermeen High School hopes the app will provide better eSafety:

Far from the classic phrase 'stick and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me', bullying today can take on a variety of forms and is capable of happening over many different mediums:
