Gov’t support for childcare services
Applications are now open for Manx parents and guardians to get pre-school credits.
It follows the announcement that from 15 June, children of retail workers will be allowed to return to nurseries, play-groups and childminders, along with the children of key workers.
Government's scheme offers parents £3,420 to help pay for pre-school costs, and can be used with registered day-care providers and childminders.
Parents of children who reach their fourth birthday between 1 September this year and 31 August next year will receive three equal payments of £1,140 in September, January and April.
You can apply online at the gov.im website, or collect and submit a written application at either the Welcome Centre or Hamilton House in Douglas.
A list of registered providers can also be found on the government website.
