Former bard says taking on the role was a 'such a privilege'
A former Manx Bard says it was such a privilege to play a part in so many occasions during his year in the role.
Applications are now open to find the 12th bard, who'll be expected to write and perform poems at a wide range of events in their year in the position.
Michael Manning was the eighth person to be named bard.
He's been telling Howard Caine about the role and what the successful candidate can expect:
