Solar panels and air source heat pumps will be given to each property
Planning approval is being sought for nine houses and a block of flats in Ramsey.
The land is adjacent to the Grove Museum and proposals show it would include three 'affordable' properties.
Air source heat pumps would be provided to each building and solar panels would be installed on the roofs of each dwelling.
The application says the existing site is 'unmanaged' with self-seeded trees and wild growth, but new planting would provide replacement habitats and some existing trees would also be kept.
It's currently pending consideration and the details can be found here.
