Jeroen Watts no longer intends to stand
A candidate for Arbory, Castletown and Malew has decided they no longer wish to stand in the upcoming General Election.
Jeroen Wats is the CEO of ExoTechnologies, a company that works with sustainable and recyclable material.
Speaking to Manx Radio, he said the more seriously he explored the possibility of standing, the more he realised his greatest contribution to the Isle of Man is likely to come through building projects, businesses and community initiatives rather than through elected office.
The other candidates standing in the constituency are Mark Firth and Kirrie Jenkins.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
