Commissioners green Christmas message
Residents in Arbory will see festive good wishes fluttering in the wind as they drive around the parish from today (Dec 3)
Commissioners have decided not to send Christmas cards this year, but to spend the budget instead on wishing ratepayers well.
The authority's ordered two unique new flags, emblazoned with a festive greeting in Manx 'Nollick Ghennal as Blein Vie Noa' and they'll be flying in Colby and Ballabeg from today.
In the past, commissioners sent cards to other authorities and MHKs - but say the new approach is a 'greener' way to send their message
