MLC to ask Infrastructure Minister whether he's prepared to reintroduce restrictions
A politician wants to know what plans are in place to bring back the 40mph all-Island speed limit used in the 2020 coronavirus lockdown.
The measure was used last year to reduce the chance of serious crashes putting the emergency services under pressure while also dealing with Covid-19.
Rob Mercer MLC will ask Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker whether he'd be ready to reintroduce the restrictions.
Mr Mercer says a winter lockdown presents different challenges on the roads:
