The Chief Minister signed off an historic document today that officially recognises the contribution by the Island's armed forces personnel.
Alan Bell launched the Armed Forces Community Covenant, which was also signed by the senior army commander in the North West of England, Brigadier Nick Fitzgerald MBE.
The main aim of the document is to ensure military members both past and present are not disadvantaged by their service.
Brigadier Fitzgerald says things can often be tough for people who leave the forces:
Government issues clarification on proposed changes to public housing policy
DHSC 'considering policy options' as Hyperbaric Chamber calls for more funding
'Really special', says charity as historic furniture returns to Island
Government 'supporting' Strix after announcement of Ramsey factory closure
