An artisan market is taking place in the market hall on North Quay in Douglas this weekend.
It's hoping to encourage interest in the age-old trading area as its future is considered.
Tenders of interest in the running of the facility have recently been received from interested parties and are now being considered.
Peter Young from Event Solutions is one of those behind the market.
He says two further markets will be held over coming weekends but hopes the future of the market long term will see trading continue on a daily basis.
