FOI request shows document no longer available
An unattributed letter, read out by the health minister during a government briefing last month, has been destroyed.
It was in response to a question about the clash between his department and leading testing scientist Dr Rachel Glover.
David Ashford claimed it was written by one of the Island's testing team.
He said they were 'demoralised' by 'ill-informed comments' in the media.
Listen to the excerpt, from 30 October, below:
Liberal Vannin Leader Michael Josem submitted a freedom of information request after the briefing, asking to see a copy of the letter.
He was told it no longer exists, after being destroyed.
