A former MHK and a well known local advocate are among those due to give evidence when the trial of the Island’s Attorney General resumes this morning (Tuesday).
Walter Gilbey and Jerry Carter are expected to be called to the stand at Douglas Courthouse in the case of 52 year-old Stephen Harding, the government's senior legal adviser.
Mr Harding is accused of committing perjury and acts against public justice.
He denies both charges.
The case relates to the winding up of local company Street Heritage which had run up an unpaid tax bill of more than £180,000.
