
The under-fire Health Minister has received backing from an unlikely source.
Onchan MHK David Quirk says he will oppose a motion in Tynwald in a fortnight’s time calling for David Anderson to stand down.
The formal motion of no confidence is being tabled to restore confidence in the leadership of the health service after serious concerns were expressed by patients and consultants.
However, Mr Quirk believes such a move is premature.
