All-Island tug of war postponed to August
Bad weather has forced the cancellation of today's inaugural RNLI all-Island beach tug of war event.
Up to 16 teams - including representation from each lifeboat station - were due to take part at Chapel Beach in Port St Mary.
It will now take place on Sunday, 8 August at 3pm instead.
Lifeboat press officer Kirsty Pendlebury says an old trophy recently found at Port St Mary station will be presented to the winners:
