Ballakermeen 'contingency plan' will see Year 10's return to school

Graeme Corrin

Break times can now be 'safely supervised'

Year 10 pupils at Ballakermeen High School can return to school as normal tomorrow (Wednesday).

The school says it now has a contingency plan in place to ensure break times are safely supervised despite the ongoing industrial action.

This will continue until at least October half term.

But the headteacher, Graeme Corrin, has warned the school is not at the point where all year groups can attend school every day.

Year 8 and 9 students will be able to attend ‘more frequently’- the new schedule can be found HERE.

In a letter to parents Mr Corrin adds: "I hope this is welcome news in what is an incredibly challenging situation for everyone."

St Ninian's High School has also announced changes to its timetable - you can find out more HERE.
