RCN asking members whether they'd support strike action
We'll find out later whether nurses on the Isle of Man have voted in support of strike action after rejecting a pay offer from Manx Care.
A ballot of Royal College of Nursing members on the Island closes at midday.
Manx Care had offered a four percent pay uplift for 2024-25, but the union was concerned the offer wouldn't be backdated for those who've already left Manx Care since the start of the financial year.
If workers vote in favour of a walkout in this indicative ballot, a statutory vote on industrial action would follow ahead of any strike action taking place.
