
The beach at Ballaugh Cronk is as clean as most locals can ever remember this week after an organisation held the first in a series of clean-ups there.
Beach Buddies, headed by Bill Dale, tackled the litter and rubbish strewn across the foreshore on Sunday – collecting dozens of bags of rubbish.
Bill says 35 volunteers came along to help over the course of an hour and managed to clean every item from the beach.
