Befriending charity on hand to help with census

Support for older people in Port Erin today

Help is on hand for people struggling to fill in their census forms.

Southern Befrienders is holding a drop in session today (Tuesday, 1 June) to assist older people who don't have access to the internet or who wish to fill out a paper copy.

This year's census was 'digital by default' – people have until 14 June to return their forms which must contain information applicable to census day which was Sunday, 30 May.

The session will take place at St Catherine's Church Hall in Port Erin between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

Those who need help are asked to bring their census letter and their own device if they have it – free WiFi will be provided by the charity.
