Bell: Tynwald has no 'corporate memory' left

Warns of issues with electing politically inexperienced CM

Electing a politically inexperienced chief minister could cause problems for the Isle of Man in the years ahead.

That's the view of a man who used to hold the post.

Allan Bell says the introduction of 11 new MHKs – and the loss of many experienced members – means the administration has no 'corporate memory'.

He believes it could cause problems when a decision is taken next week on who should take the top job:
