
High winds in the Irish Sea have led to a severe delay for this morning's 8.45 am ferry crossing to Heysham.
The Steam Packet says it will now depart at 9pm, with passengers asked to check in by 8 o'clock this evening.
The return sailing will leave at 3am on Christmas morning, with passengers asked to check in by 2am.
Yesterday evening's crossing and overnight return were cancelled due to the high winds in the Irish Sea.
