A prize of £3,000 is on offer if anyone can beat Chris Boardman's record of one hour, 23 minutes and 54 seconds for a lap of the TT Mountain Course on a bicycle.
It's just one of the three parts making up Sunday's Shoprite Cycle for Life.
The Individual Time Trial starts at 7am and is followed by the Team Event which gets underway from the Grandstand from 8am.
And the family fun event is on Douglas promenade from 9.15am with registration from 8.45am.
Simon Crellin from the organisers says the announcement of the prize for beating Boardman's record is designed to create even more interest for next year:
