Eden Project founder says Isle of Man could the 'the Singapore of Europe'
The Isle of Man could lead the way in Europe for energy independence and food security if it commits to biodiversity.
That's from the founder of the Eden Project, Sir Tim Smit, who's been visiting the Island as part of an event organised by the Chamber of Commerce and the UK's Northern Powerhouse initiative.
The conference also looked at the economic opportunities open to the Isle of Man in the North West of England.
But Sir Tim says the Isle of Man could be ahead of the rest of the world if it focusses on its own opportunities:
Petition calls for pets to be recognised as beings, not property
New social housing reporting system 'more efficient' for tenants
Peel Commissioners encouraging residents to report damaged benches
