MLCs to scrutinise clause of Constitution Bill
Proposals to remove the Bishop's vote in Tynwald are set to make their first appearance in the Legislative Council later today.
MLCs will begin scrutinising a clause which would see the religious figure retain a place in Tynwald, but without the ability to influence proceedings by way of a vote.
Some MLCs hope there'll be additional 'evidence sessions' given to the Upper House to provide new perspectives.
