Clinic puts social distancing measures in place to keep donors safe
It's safe to continue giving blood during the coronavirus pandemic as there's no evidence Covid-19 can be transmitted through blood donation.
That's the message from the Isle of Man Government following a plea for donors to continue to attend their appointments as normal, as long as they're fit and healthy.
The Island's blood clinic has been putting social distancing measures in place to ensure those giving blood can do so safely.
Department of Home Affairs chief executive Dan Davies says it's vital the Island has enough blood donations at this time:
Friday evening sailings subject to possible disruption or cancellation
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Warning in place for coastal overtopping
Port St Mary father continues to fight for change in drug laws
