The government's strategy to grow the economy and generate new revenue for the Island over the next four years - Vision 2020 - has moved a step forward.
The document from the Department of Economic development was debated and received by Tynwald last night after the budget vote (18 Feb).
The document looks at business opportunities and how to turn them into economic success, outlining strategies to achieve this aim.
Minister John Shimmin was delighted with the mainly positive response during the debate.
He said the public and local businesses as well as politicians need to get behind the project for the long-term benefit of the whole Island:
No increase in domestic gas prices for rest of 2026
Law targeting sale of nicotine pouches takes step further
Procurement process for Kirk Onchan Post Office continuing
Bus station will not be moved to the Sea Terminal
