A special service to remember those who lost their lives in the worst ever air disaster on the Isle of Man will take place this morning (Sunday, April 26th).
On April 23 1945, an American B17 flying from Essex to Northern Ireland crashed into North Barrule – killing all 31 people on board.
The service to mark the crash’s 70th anniversary will be held at Dhoon Church at 11am, and all are welcome.
