Many measures to disappear early next week
The Island's borders will remain closed after the state of emergency ends early next week.
Many measures introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic will disappear following Chief Minister Howard Quayle's statement in Tynwald today.
However, others will remain including the requirement for people coming to the Island self-isolating for 14 days.
Mr Quayle says this rule has already proven to be beneficial during the lockdown:-
Man had 'sweetie shop' of drugs disguised as a candle
'Power of veto' might help get difficult decisions through, says chief minister
Gas prices to remain unchanged for 2026
Ramsey Commissioners not adding 'optional' one percent increase to social housing rents
