Passengers unable to book their place on sailings
The Steam Packet says ongoing negotiations with Dublin Port are the reason why bookings for this year's sailings haven't yet opened.
Passengers told Manx Radio they had faced issues when trying to book their place on the sailings.
In an update today (25 March) the Isle of Man Steam Packet says the negotiations concern berth slots at Dublin.
It says this is due to circumstances out of Dublin Port’s control but related to recent issues with Holyhead’s linkspan.
The company has told Manx Radio there has been 'a lot of work going on behind the scenes' to get the Dublin sailings over the line.
The ferry operator says it will issue a statement on this issue shortly and it's hoping to have an update on the sailings next week.
The Steam Packet has apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
