Hooded Ram fails to secure car park for TT 2019
Douglas Borough Council says it is 'in no way responsible for the cancellation of Hooded Ram's festival'.
It comes as the brewery failed to secure a designated official for the fortnight yesterday, after the licensing courts refused its application.
With just over two weeks until the TT festival, it was revealed Hooded Ram had no marquee, no bookings for live bands and no security.
In a statement released today, David Christian says he was 'always fully supportive of the festival plans' however the cancellation is totally out of the council's control.
Mr Christian regrets the site will now remain a car park for TT but hopes the company will secure all the necessary licences for TT 2020.
