A report on boundary changes for House of Keys election constituencies will be put to Tynwald later this month.
The Boundary Review Committee set up in 2010, will recommend the Island is divided into twelve constituencies, each returning two members to the Keys.
The committee says the current system is unfair and inequitable, with voters in several large constituencies electing three MHKs while those in other areas, including the town of Peel, being represented by only one.
In addition, the report says in future there should be parity across the Island in the number of voters per constituency.
Chief Minister Allan Bell will table a motion calling on Tynwald to approve a second interim report from the committee and direct it to define new boundaries.
