Kaiden ready to return to Island after ordeal
A Douglas boy, who accidently swallowed a battery, will return to the Isle of Man today after 27 days in a UK hospital.
Four-year-old Kaiden Taylor was airlifted to Alder Hey for emergency treatment.
His father Ryan has been with him ever since.
He's described the ordeal as 'very stressful and terrifying' but says his son has been 'incredibly brave and strong' throughout the treatment.
He's also urged other parents to be aware of the dangers.
Public Health Isle of Man says at least two children per year die from swallowing these batteries.
Ryan told Manx Radio his son has been getting back to his normal self and cannot wait to come home.
And Kaiden also had a message for his well-wishers:
