Centre manager says she's excited to be welcoming people to the facility
Braddan Commissioners' new leisure centre is opening in the New Year.
The project has seen a number of delays - earlier this year, the local authority asked for approval to borrow additional funds, which has been granted by the Department of Infrastructure.
The commissioners say it's 'likely' the additional borrowing will be partially funded through an increase in the rates until income from the facility becomes 'on stream'.
The local authority has named it 'The Roundhouse' and the centre manager Cassi McAllister says she's excited to be welcoming people to the new facility.
She says the new centre will be able to give smaller sports the opportunity to have a 'top class' facility:
DHA to consider applicability of UK policing reforms on IOM
Dealer who ran from police in his underpants jailed
Yellow weather warning issued as Storm Chandra heads our way
