Change was agreed at their February board meeting
Braddan Commissioners is changing its recycling partnership next month.
The local authority previously worked with Douglas Council however it will now be the job of recycle collect.
It will come into effect on Wednesday 5 April with collections being carried out every two weeks.
The commissioners have said residents do not need to sign up or pay a separate fee and full details will be sent out with the rate demand.
