Radar guns to be given out
Braddan residents are to be granted new powers to collect speeding data in their community.
Braddan Parish Commissioners have approved a 'Community Speedwatch' scheme whereby officials and designated local people will be given a radar gun.
The device will be used to collect data, but it's also hoped it will act as a traffic calming measure.
Commissioners' Chairman Andrew Jessop says the pace some vehicles got at is a problem in the area:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
